Barn Life Recovery offers Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®) classes every Wednesday. This innovative series of exercises assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system.

The practice involves moving through a set of seven exercises designed to activate the psoas muscles and initiate a shaking, or “tremoring,” through the whole body. This helps let go of acute or chronic stress and tension patterns and helps to bring balance, relaxation, and freedom from stress. This class is appropriate for everyone regardless of age or diagnosis. It is equally useful for everyday stress as well as deeply held trauma.

Like all other Barn Life Recovery groups, our trauma release exercises class does not require a registration to attend and is totally free to the public. You do not need to be a client of Barn Life Recovery to participate in our group.

Our treatment center at Barn Life Recovery hosts support groups as a way of normalizing mental health by modeling the characteristics of a supportive community. We want to create a non-judgmental environment where people feel safe. Join Us!
